The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta is currently ongoing for pre-order customers, and eagle-eyed observers have noticed that the game files bundle in the heretofore unreleased second-gen version of Nvidia's DLSS ray reconstruction tech.
DLSS 4.5 adds a new "F" model for ray reconstruction, and it's possible to swipe the .DLL file from the beta and copy it into other game directories to automagically upgrade to the new DLSS ray reconstruction model.
Tools like DLSS Swapper also exist to automate this process, and while this particular tool doesn't support Model F yet, you can tweak the program slightly to enable it early. In short, you'll just need to check the DLSS Swapper install directory, open a file with Notepad using admin privileges, then duplicate the "Preset E" entry, changing it to Preset F with the hex value of six. The instructions are available via the DLSS Swapper tweet below.
If you're not that fussed to try the new model early, it should be announced properly at a Nvidia event at Gamescom in Cologne tomorrow, August 25th, and presumably rolled out via the Nvidia app soon thereafter.
The "GeForce On Community Update" stream kicks off at 5PM local time (so 4PM UK), and should include the usual assortment of game showcases and feature updates for various gaming products, including DLSS.

Good, hopefully it fixes the shimmering issue I'm seeing with the ray reconstruction override in Alan Wake 2.

@MartinAshford Same kit here, except for 6000 RAM speed; I run this on 3360x1440p 21:9 OLED … fewer pixels than 4K so absolutely smashes it and didn't need 5080 or 5090.
If there was the rumoured RTX 5070 Ti Super with 24GB instead of 16GB I would've got that … but there's no chance of the Super range with the ongoing RAMpocalyse in my view.
However, with 60x0 range looking like it's been pushed out a year too, I think it's highly likely that 50x0 cards are going to be able to run DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction just fine.
@StooMonster agree totally, if the super series was released Id of had that instead. I sold my (pre FSR 4.1) RX 7900 XTX for the 5070TI and I'm not really sure I'm getting the returns. I think this'll be in my sons computer before to long. As long as my wife does hear me typing out my credit card into the scan computers website, I think I'll be fine. Please don't tell her that.
