Got an unreleased graphics card? Planning out your build? Well, you're in luck, as Seasonic recently added Nvidia's rumoured but unannounced RTX 50-series Super graphics cards to its wattage calculator. This part of the website asks you for your components and spits out a power supply recommendation, and has previously been a good indicator that new GPUs are on the way - eventually.

The RTX 5070 Super, 5070 Ti Super and 5080 Super are all listed by the Seasonic tool now, with the first two appearing all the way back in September 2025 and the 5080 Super turning up yesterday. Does that suggest the RTX Super launch is back on? It certainly doesn't guarantee it, but the timing is still interesting - and the GPU power figures are also worth quickly discussing.

Taking the RTX 5080 Super first, the TDP here is given as 415W, a solid 15 percent increase over the 360W TDP of the regular 5080. The RTX 5070 Ti Super sees a 350W TDP, a 17 percent increase, while the RTX 5070 Super is given a 275W TDP, or a 10 percent increase. Of course, I wouldn't take any of these figures as gospel, as they could easily be placeholders or based on rumoured information.

If released today, would you consider an RTX 50-Series Super GPU?

As a reminder, all three Super GPUs are meant to include 3GB instead of 2GB memory modules, raising VRAM counts by 50 percent. That means the RTX 5080 Super and 5070 Ti Super would have 24GB of GDDR7 instead of 16GB, while the 5070 Super would have 18GB of VRAM instead of 12GB.

This might be accompanied by a slight bump to operating frequency too, which would line up with the higher wattages listed by Seasonic here and previously rumoured by leaker Kopite.

The RTX 50-Series Super GPUs are meant to be announced at CES early next year, so we likely still have some time to wait for more substantive news.
